When we initiated a conversation with Corporate America and helping them transform and become New America ready in 2010, the intention was to disrupt how Corporate America practiced marketing to what was then known as minorities and how Corporate America hired, engaged, and retained them in the workplace. Our thesis? The practice of multicultural marketing and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) were broken. There had to be another way.
From 2010 to 2015, we re-introduced the Total Market topic and a new approach to accelerate growth that is inclusive of the New America using cross-cultural and poly-cultural insights.
From 2016 – 2018, for the workplace, we introduced a new problem statement – “the workplace is two to three generations culturally removed from the marketplace ©” and created a solve through the Reframe Cultural Maturity Assessment (think Six Sigma, but for culture).
In 2019, we made software to scale and sustain change from the inside, out to truly help Corporate America close the cultural gap between America and Corporate America.
After testing, learning and validating our change approach with over 20 F1K client engagements, we came into 2020 anticipating a June release of our software to complement our services. Then we were hit with literally a reckoning of two pandemics: COVID-19 and Black Lives Matter. We moved forward with the launch of our software because COVID – 19 exposed Corporate America’s lack of digital readiness and Black Lives Matter exposed Corporate America’s cultural gap.
In July 2020 we formed a partnership with H&S, an integrated communications agency, to help amplify Corporate America’s problem, offer a solution, and scale our cultural transformation offering.
We are now shifting our messaging from the things we’ve made, tested and validated to lifting up and helping People Leaders. Our software and services help People Leaders build the best experiences no matter where their employees work and live.
What we now know, more than ever, is that change must happen to accelerate growth while building a more inclusive workplace that is personal in what is now a work from anywhere culture for the foreseeable future.
This is why we are launching the People Leaders campaign today. Over the next several weeks, we will highlight People Leaders, their struggles and how they are navigating through two pandemics to close the cultural gap between Corporate America and America.
